TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 11, 2022 — Sigma Defense Systems looks to expand its software-based offerings for defense customers with its recent purchase of Solute, a San Diego-based software development and systems engineering company, ExecutiveBiz reported.
“The acquisition of Solute furthers Sigma Defense’s strategy of delivering a comprehensive suite of products for the [Joint All Domain Command and Control] construct,” said Matt Jones, CEO of Sigma Defense.
He added that the move is in support of the company’s efforts to deliver open-source platform as a service to the Department of Defense for C2, communications and autonomy operations.
