Hanchar will provide support to the Department of Defense’s accreditation unit responsible for overseeing the CMMC program including its assessment, training and certification procedures, CMMC-AB said Wednesday.
Prior to her current capacity at Cobham, Hanchar held leadership positions at Ingram Micro, HireRight and Broadcom.
Her more that 25 years of cybersecurity, supply chain and information technology management experience includes work at the U.S. Navy Reserves.
She also cofounded and served as chairman at the Veteran Employee Resource Group nonprofit organization.
CMMC-AB also added Charlie Williams, founder and president of defense and government consulting firm CWilliams, to the organization's board.
Williams previously served as director of the Defense Contract Management Agency and held a deputy assistant secretary role at the U.S. Air Force’s acquisition office.
His other government positions include U.S. representative to a NATO program and commissioner at a Section 809 panel created to help update the Defense Acquisition Regulatory System.
“Both individuals are distinguished veterans who’ve served our country, and who bring tremendous cyber security, defense acquisition, and industry expertise,” said Ty Schieber, chair of the CMMC-AB board.
Hanchar and Williams' terms will begin immediately.
