Shawn Kingsberry, formerly director of cloud solutions at Engility (NYSE: EGL), has joined Unisys (NYSE: UIS) as head of the information technology firm’s global digital government practice.
Kingsberry will directly report to Mark Forman, vice president of the global public sector business at Unisys, and will work to guide public sector consumers as they adopt cloud computing, data analytics and other digital government platforms, Unisys said Wednesday.
“Shawn’s experience and expertise will be a great benefit to our clients as they make the leap to the digital government of the future, ” said Forman.
Before he moved to the private sector in 2014, Kingsberry served as chief information officer of the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board.
At RATB, he helped launch Recovery.gov, which is designed to increase transparency on stimulus spending as part of the implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
