Shannon Wagner, formerly senior vice president of operations at Bridgewater, Virginia-based Dynamic Aviation, has been promoted to chief operating officer at the company.
The 25-year commercial aviation veteran started in his current role in February and oversees the company’s daily operations, Dynamic Aviation said Monday.
“Shannon has an immense passion for aviation, ” said Dynamic Aviation President and CEO Michael Stoltzfus.
Wagner also brings experience in production management, contract negotiations, strategic planning, safety and regulatory compliance, line and component maintenance and labor relations, among other specializations.
Prior to joining Dynamic Aviation in 2013, Wagner has held leadership roles in other aviation companies including Aveos Fleet Performance, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
He also served as an avionics technician and helicopter mechanic for the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army, respectively.
Wagner has a bachelor’s degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree in business administration from Strayer University.
