Seven companies have won positions on a potential five-year, $195 million contract to support military construction projects within Naval Facilities Engineering Commands Southeast area of operations in north Florida and south Georgia.
NAVFAC received 40 proposals for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Contractors will compete for task orders to provide design-build and design-bid-build services for aviation, marine, housing, administrative, logistical and other naval facilities. The IDIQ covers new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition and repair efforts.
