Serco Group’s Americas division will continue to provide IT and programmatic support services to U.S. Navy bases worldwide under a five-year, $69 million task order.
The follow-on award extends Serco Inc.‘s work to help the service branch maintain Anti-terrorism and Force Protection and Enterprise Land Mobile Radio systems, the company said Tuesday.
Serco has been providing support to the military branch since 2001. The Herndon, Virginia-based contractor’s previous efforts involved lifecycle sustainment, acquisition and integration for electronic surveillance systems used in ATFP.
Under the task order, the company will deliver information assurance, network rollout support, network engineering, and dispatch and alarm services for naval regions in different parts of the globe.
“With this win, Serco will continue our support in helping the nation secure our military bases and detect and respond to cyber security threats,” Serco CEO Tom Watson commented.
