Cyber intelligence company Sentar has acquired Huntsville, Alabama-headquartered Waterfront Technical Services for an undisclosed sum to expand into the civil space sector.
Allan McCaleb, president of Waterfront, will join Sentar as director of civil space programs and oversee the combined organization’s business growth efforts in the sector, the company said Wednesday.
Waterfront supports NASA in program areas such as data center operations, flight and ground operations, information technology and software development.
The acquired company is a subcontractor of Teledyne Brown Engineering under the space agency’s Marshall Operations, Systems, Services and Integration II contract.
