Sean Thompson, formerly regional vice president of sales at Unisys (NYSE: UIS), has joined augmented identity and biometric systems provider IDEMIA as head of business development for identity and security business in North America.
He will oversee IDEMIAs business development, capture, sales and proposal activities and bring to the role over 26 years of experience in the federal government sector, the company said Friday.

During his tenure at Unisys, Thompson led federal, intelligence and defense sales team and capture and proposals group. He also held senior leadership roles in business development at Sotera Defense Solutions, IBM (NYSE: IBM), iGov and American Management Systems.
