Savneet Singh, a board member at PAR Technology (NYSE: PAR), has been appointed president and CEO of the New Hartford, N.Y.-based tech platforms provider on an acting basis.
Singhs appointment took effect on Dec. 4 after Donald Foley stepped down from his roles as CEO, president and director, PAR said Thursday.

The companys board has begun the search for a permanent CEO through the assistance of its current executive search firm.
Singh has been a partner of CoVenture since June and sits on the boards of Blockchain Power Trust, EcoLogic Solutions, LottoGopher Holdings and Produce Pay.
He previously served as managing partner of Tera-Holdings and co-founded Gold Bullion International, where he also served as CEO, president and chief operating officer.
