SAP-Led Team to Build Prototype System to Manage DoD Business Travel

TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 20, 2018 ” A SAP business unit will work with Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal services business, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and CWTSato Travel to develop a prototype platform that will work to manage the business travel bookings of Defense Department employees under a $9.3M other transaction agreement, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

DoD said Thursday SAP Concur will lead the industry team as it works to provide travel-as-a-service and build a replacement for the currently used Defense Travel System in an effort to reduce cost and labor associated with booking airline tickets, support audit readiness, boost customer satisfaction and align with best practices in the commercial sector.
