Mark Frantz, co-founder of Blue Delta, said in a statement Wednesday that Bansal has mentored CEOs of technology companies in the past 10 years and having him as part of the venture capital firm’s advisory board will provide chief executives with insights and perspectives to further build up their companies and support the missions of their clients.
Bansal is co-founder and chairman of health care data science company CareJourney. He sits on the boards of several tech companies, including SimilarWeb (NYSE: SMWB), Everquote (Nasdaq: EVER), Cvent and AIS.
He co-founded MicroStrategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) and served as vice chairman of the business intelligence software provider. He also served on the boards of Perspecta, which is now part of Peraton, and CSRA prior to its acquisition by General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
“I’m excited to join Blue Delta to advise their portfolio companies on the next generation of technologies that can better serve the U.S. Federal Government Services market, providing greater capabilities to the Nation’s missions,” said Bansal.
