Sanjeeth Pai
Sanjeeth Pai, a more than two-decade global health care industry veteran, has been named vice president and general manager of Battelle™s health research and technology business.
He will provide strategic leadership for the nonprofit company™s public health, medical devices and clinical and nonclinical research business groups as well as oversee operational, financial and organizational activities within the health business unit, Battelle said Wednesday.
Matt Vaughan, president of contract research at Battelle, said Pai™s leadership experience would help the company further build up its health business and support government customers who have turned to Battelle for its knowledge in environmental exposure, toxicology and countermeasure development studies.
Prior to Battelle, Pai previously worked at pharmaceutical firm Concordia International as head of U.S. commercial operations. He also held leadership positions at Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH), Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT) and Steris (NYSE: STE).
