Saima Shaukat, a 13-year Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) executive, has been appointed chief revenue officer at cloud-based insurance platforms provider TechCanary.
Shaukat will oversee the development of go-to-market strategies for the company™s insurance platform and will bring to her role nearly two decades of enterprise software experience, TechCanary said Tuesday.
Reid Holzworth, TechCanary CEO and co-founder, said Shaukat™s skills in sales strategy, leadership and Salesforce experience and financial services knowledge will support the company™s growth efforts.
Shaukat most recently served as Salesforce™s general manager and vice president of commercial sales with a focus on the financial services market in Canada.
She previously worked at Infotriever as business development manager and as a federal account executive at Silanis Technology.
