TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 14, 2018 Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) will supply cloud computing and analytics technology to the Customs and Border Protection agency as part of the latter’s digital modernization initiatives, ExecutiveBiz reported.
The company said CBP will deploy the Salesforce Analytics, Community Cloud and Service Cloud platforms to support the recruitment of field agents, facilitate efficiencies in border security activities as well as drive engagement with citizens.
“By deploying Salesforce, CBP is empowering its employees with a modern CRM platform that will boost engagement, information sharing and productivity,” said Dave Rey, executive vice president for the public sector at Salesforce and a 2018 Wash100 inductee.
