TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 28, 2017 Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) has committed one million volunteer hours and $50 million in investment to support computer science education at public K-12 schools in the U.S. over five years, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.
The company said Tuesday its philanthropic arm Salesforce.org will also provide free software subscriptions to eligible schools and $1 million to Code.org as part of Salesforce’s pledge with the Internet Association’s $300 million project to advance education targeted at the field of computer science.
