The joint venture of SaiTech and Venesco will provide a range of information technology support services to the IT and communications division at NASA’s headquarters in Washington under a potential five-year, $243 million contract.
NASA said Tuesday the JV will help the division plan and manage information systems, support applications, engineer and integrate systems, innovate new technology, support customers and operate the space agency’s data center.
The Headquarters IT Support Services III contract contains a one-year base period of performance and four one-year options.
The agency awarded the contract via a competitive procurement process that was set aside for vendors certified under the Small Business Administration‘s 8(a) program.
