SAIC has finalized the acquisition of SilverEdge Government Solutions from private equity firm Godspeed Capital. Robert Miller, CEO of SilverEdge, confirmed the transaction’s completion in a LinkedIn post Thursday, saying that the “milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter” in the companies’ shared mission to provide innovative capabilities to advance the nation’s objectives.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful for everyone who helped make this possible,” he wrote. “The future is bright — let’s go!”
What the SilverEdge Acquisition Brings to SAIC
In early October, SAIC announced that it had entered into an agreement to purchase SilverEdge for $205 million in cash. SAIC said the deal expands its team with cybersecurity experts, intelligence analysts and software developers and will strengthen its capability to support.
SilverEdge’s portfolio includes the SOAR software-as-a-service product suite, which can be tailored to meet customer needs, and the recently launched MynAI agentic artificial intelligence platform for secure government environments.
