TYSONS CORNER, VA, February 12, 2019 Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) looks to consolidate its 31 offices across the Washington, D.C., area following its acquisition of Engility in an effort to optimize the integrated company’s operations and infrastructure, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Bisnow reported Feb. 4 that the effort will impact SAIC’s 1.2M square feet of real estate footprint in the region, with its office near Reston Town Center set to remain as its headquarters.
Nathan Rogers, chief information officer of SAIC, said he is working with the facilities team to finalize the consolidation plan, which he says will also involve a reinvestment in information technology in order to boost hiring, retention and productivity.
