Russell Marsh Named Cubic Defense President

Cubic Defense has appointed Russell Marsh, a more than 25-year industry executive, as president.

In a LinkedIn post published Monday, Cubic’s defense segment said Marsh will now manage the Live Virtual Constructive, or LVC, division for air and ground training while continuing to oversee Secure Communications and GATR business units.

Russell Marsh’s Career Background

According to his LinkedIn profile, Marsh most recently served as chief operating officer at Cubic Defense.

Before joining Cubic’s defense business in 2023, he worked at CAES, where he led the company’s integrated defense systems division.

The U.S. Navy veteran has led program and business transformation efforts in the defense and commercial sectors.

His industry career included leadership roles at several defense companies, including Leonardo DRS, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics and General Atomics.

Marsh holds a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
