RTX (NYSE: RTX) has secured a $344.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to produce guided, gliding precision munition with multimode seeker technology for domestic and international military customers.
The modification covers the lot 10 production of StormBreaker, additional all up rounds, containers and trainers for the Air Force and the governments of Norway, Germany, Italy and Finland, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will occur in Tucson, Arizona, through Aug. 30, 2028.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will finance the contract modification using the Air Force and the Navy’s fiscal 2023 and 2024 procurement budget and foreign military sales fund.
