IT and professional services provider RSC2 has acquired Navigant Systems, a veteran-owned business, for an undisclosed sum to add offerings and markets in the command, control, computers, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance area.
RSC2 said Monday the two companies have complementary C5ISR platforms and the acquisition would expand the acquirer’s force protection and communications expertise.
The Baltimore, Maryland-headquartered company also moved to grow its operational footprint outside the contiguous U.S. locations where the Department of Defense operates.
The Navigant purchase comes more than a year after RSC2 purchased a TriMech Services division that markets systems engineering, modeling and simulation services to DOD customers.
