Government contracting industry veterans Roger Krone, Carey Smith and John Heller have been elected to serve in key leadership positions on the Professional Services Council’s board of directors next year.
Krone, who has led Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as CEO since July 2014 and a six-time Wash100 inductee, will chair the PSC board, the council said Thursday.
Smith — president and chief operating officer at Parsons (NYSE: PSN) and two-time Wash100 recipient — will be the vice chair while John Heller — CEO of PAE and four-time Wash100 awardee, will serve as secretary.
All three executives will work to address the council’s goals for promoting competition and fairness in the GovCon marketplace.
“I look forward to serving in the chair capacity in 2020, working with other member companies to expand and strengthen our collective ability to reach decision makers, shape responses to ongoing challenges and increase engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders,” Krone said.
“With the experience and knowledge of Roger, Carey and John, we will continue to advance our industry in helping serve our government customers and the American people,” said David Berteau, president and CEO of PSC and a two-time Wash100 Award winner.
