Rocky Thurston Named Perspecta SVP

Rocky Thurston, a more than 20-year government information technology industry veteran, has joined Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) as a senior vice president, G2Xchange ETC reported Tuesday.

He brings to the role years of experience supporting the departments of Homeland Security and Transportation and other federal civilian agencies in their IT modernization initiatives.

In his new role, Thurston will oversee the delivery of IT services and other capabilities in support of federal civilian, public safety and state and local government agencies.

He is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and has held senior leadership roles at AT&T (NYSE: T), Accenture (NYSE: ACN), KBRwyle, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
