Robin Lineberger
Robin Lineberger, lead client service partner for the aerospace and defense industry practice at Deloitte, has been named global and U.S. leader for the professional services firms A&D segment.
He will succeed the retiring Tom Captain, a 36-year company veteran who is set to retire by the end of fiscal year 2017, and oversee the development of strategies and capabilities in support of global lead client service teams and partners, Deloitte said Thursday.
Lineberger, a 30-year systems integration consultant, will continue to serve in his current role as a global lead client service partner at Deloitte.
He previously served as CEO of Deloittes federal government services business, where he led a team of at least 6,000 employees who provide consulting, financial and risk advisory support to U.S. government agencies.
Prior to Deloitte, he worked as executive vice president for the global public services business at BearingPoint.
He spent four years as a captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he held quality assurance responsibilities for software development of the airborne warning and control system.
Lineberger is a member of several associations such as the Governors Advisory Council on Revenue Estimates, Aerospace Industries Association and the National Defense Industrial Association.
He previously served as chairman of Tech Americas public sector board and an executive committee member of the Professional Services Council.
