Prior to Akima, she was a business development executive at information technology and professional services provider Empower AI, formerly NCI Information Systems.
At Empower AI, Dewar oversaw business development initiatives for artificial intelligence platforms and related offerings, developed strategic plans for defense, intelligence community, civilian and health markets and established customer relations across government agencies and industry partners, among other responsibilities.
Her industry career included time holding business development leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corp. and InfoSeer in support of government and industry clients.
Dewar also served as an account manager at information systems company Litton PRC.
