Rob Cotton, director of federal civilian growth at SkyePoint Decisions, has been promoted to vice president of growth at the Dulles, Virginia-based cybersecurity company, according to a LinkedIn post published Tuesday.
In his new capacity, Cotton leads a team of business development, capture and proposal professionals to identify new opportunities and partnerships.
The three-decade government and commercial market veteran joined SkyePoint in April from TechFlow, where he previously was director of BD and capture manager of digital services.
He also held various positions at Octo, Sevatec, Harris Corp., Digital Management Inc., Identix, Capgemini and Ernst & Young.
Cotton spent 20 years of his career working with federal customers through government information technology programs.
