Palo Alto, California-based satellite manufacturer Space Systems Loral has appointed three executives to oversee the companys government systems business unit that provides support to U.S. government clients and related programs.
Richard White, senior vice president of government systems at SSL, has been promoted to president of SSL Government Systems and will be responsible for the unit’s growth initiatives in the government market, SSL said Wednesday.
Before he joined the firm in October 2016, White previously served as CEO of Capstone Corp. and held senior management positions at Harris Corp.(NYSE: HRS).
Prior to SSL, Zitz worked at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as strategic account executive and chief systems architect.
He is former civilian intelligence officer in the U.S. Army and his government career includes senior leadership roles at the CIA, National Reconnaissance Office, Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency, among other agencies.
