Richard Loving, senior vice president of human resources at BWX Technologies (NYSE: BWXT) since 2016, has taken new roles as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of the company.
Loving has four decades of domestic and international experience in the manufacturing, government operations and energy areas, BWXT said Thursday.
In his new capacity, he aims to drive innovation and inclusion at the Lynchburg, Va.-based company through workforce optimization, safety, security and brand management initiatives.
He started his career at Babcock & Wilcox in 1979 and held various leadership roles at B&W and BWXT businesses before he moved to McDermott International, where he directed international HR functions. Loving returned to BWXT in 2016.
“Elevating his title to chief administrative officer acknowledges the full breadth of his responsibilities in human resources, communications, security and environmental health & safety,” said Rex Geveden, president and CEO of BWXT.
