Richard Hill
Richard Hill, a board member at Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) since January, has been named interim president and CEO of the Mountain View, Calif.-based cybersecurity company.
He replaces Greg Clark, who stepped down after three years at the helm, as the company begins its search for a full-time CEO, Symantec said Thursday.
Hill has chaired Marvell Technology Groups (Nasdaq: MRVL) board since May 2016 and sits on the boards of Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW), Xperi (Nasdaq: XPER) and Cabot Microelectronics (Nasdaq: CCMP). He previously served as CEO of Novellus Systems and as a board member of several technology firms such as Yahoo, Autodesk (Nasdaq: ADSK), Planar Systems and LSI.
Vincent Pilette
Vincent Pilette, a more than 20-year financial management executive, will join Symantec on May 21 as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Pilette previously worked at Logitech International and Electronics for Imaging (Nasdaq: EFII) as CFO and as VP of finance at Hewlett Packard Enterprises (NYSE: HPE) server, storage and networking business.
