Richard Guzzardi Assumes Executive Director Post Within Raytheon's Missiles & Defense Unit

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has promoted 19-year company veteran Richard Guzzardi to executive director of operations, supply chain and quality, air power within its missiles and defense business, according to a LinkedIn post published Wednesday.

He served as senior director of the unit’s global supply chain for more than two years prior to his promotion.

Guzzardi started his career at the company in 2003 as manager of program contracts and later managed business contracts and compliance functions related to the global integrated sensors product line under Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.

He also oversaw contracts and supply chain operations in senior director role focused on mission systems, sensors and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Earlier in his career, Guzzardi was director of contracts at Nortel Networks.
