Duncan McNabb
Duncan McNabb, a retired U.S. Air Force general and former commander of the U.S. Transportation Command, has joined the board of directors of Elbit Systems‘ (Nasdaq: ESLT) U.S. subsidiary.
He will join six other outside directors led by Robert Magnus, chairman of the board at Elbit Systems of America and a retired U.S. Marine Corps general, the company said Monday.
“It is our pleasure to welcome Gen. McNabb to our board of directors… With his extensive military background and business acumen, he will be a strong addition to our boardroom, ” said Raanan Horowitz, president and CEO of Elbit Systems of America.
McNabb oversaw the Defense Department‘s global air, land and sea transportation programs in his prior role as Transcom chief.
He also previously served as vice chief of staff at the Air Force and held various command and staff positions at squadron, group, wing, major command and DoD levels as well as supported Desert Shield and Desert Storm during his military career.
