Janet Foutty, currently chairman and CEOÂ of Deloitte Consulting LLPÂ and previously leader of Deloitte‘s federal practice, has been nominated by the board of directors to the role of U.S. chairman, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.
The report said the professional services firm’s partners and principals will vote early next year on the proposed appointment of Foutty and CEO candidate Joseph Ucuzoglu.
Foutty, a 2015 Wash100 winner, became the federal consulting head of the company in 2013 after she served as managing director of technology within the consulting business.
The 28-year company veteran has supported government programs related to military veteran services, public service opportunities for the millennial workforce and science, technology, engineering and math education.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative business analysis from Indiana University and master’s degree in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
