Shyam Salona
REI Systems has appointed Shyam Salona, a co-founder and former executive vice president and chief technology officer, as its new CEO.
The company said Tuesday Salona will succeed fellow co-founder and former CEO Veer Bhartiya, who will remain at REI as executive chairman.
“I am excited to take on this new role within our company while REI is in an exciting period of innovation and growth, ” Salona said.
Salona has more than 25 years of experience in federal information technology, REI added.
REI is a government IT technology contractor that has worked with NASA, the Justice Department, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Health and Human Services‘ health resource services administration.
