Recorded Future‘s Threat Intelligence Fund has invested in Hunt.io, a startup that produces security data from scanning and incident observations of network infrastructure.
The Hunt platform works by deploying “millions of probes” to track threat actor movements within a network and offer organizations an in-depth insight into malicious activity, Recorded Future said Friday.
Chris Ueland, co-founder and CEO of Hunt.io, noted the company will use the investment to drive its adversary-hunting tool development efforts.
“Hunt.io’s innovative technology aligns perfectly with our mission to support and invest in companies at the forefront of intelligence innovation,” said Craig Adams, chief of product and engineering at Recorded Future.
Launched in 2021, the Threat Intelligence Fund offers seed and Series A investments to startup companies focused on developing cybersecurity data sets and collection tools.
Recorded Future is sponsoring the Potomac Officers Club’s 9th Annual Intel Summit on Sept. 21.
