TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 27, 2018 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has entered into a partnership with Virsec in an effort to provide customers in the global government and critical infrastructure sectors access to commercial cybersecurity technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
Virsec’s Trusted Execution platform will leverage Raytheon’s experience in cyber defense to help protect networks against threats that bypass conventional security and detect anomalies in software applications, the latter company said Monday.
“Commercial tools from companies like Virsec can help bridge the gap for our global government and commercial customers and provide effective protection against the growing cyber threat,” said John DeSimone, vice president of cybersecurity and special missions at Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business.
