Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) has secured a potential $202.6M contract to help the U.S. Air Force sustain the F-15E aircraft's active electronically scanned array radar.
The company will provide engineering services necessary to activate a depot capability for the service branch's APG 82(V)1 radar modernization program, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The sole-source contract has an $89.9M base value, which USAF will obligate at the time of award, and options worth potentially $112.7M.
Work will occur in California, Mississippi and Texas through Dec. 11, 2024.
APG-82(V)1 AESA radars are designed to integrate with F-15E Strike Eagle dual-role fighter jets and perform detection, identification and tracking of detect, identify and track of multiple targets simultaneously.
