TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 23, 2017 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has partnered with Kongsberg to offer a precision missile system to the U.S. Navy under the service branch’s solicitation for an over-the-horizon capability for littoral combat ships and frigates, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Raytheon said Wednesday it will produce the long-range Naval Strike Missile with seeker and target identification technology as well as associated launchers and components in the U.S.
