TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 23, 2016 The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) a potential ten-year, $63 million contract for encryption tools that will work to secure military tactical data transmissions via air, surface, subsurface and ground assets, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Raytheon said Wednesday the Link Level Communication Security 7M encryptor is designed to protect data transfers through the Link 22 tactical radio systems utilized by the military and its allies.
