TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 13, 2017 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will provide resources and serve as the title sponsor for a national college-level cybersecurity contest over the next three years, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.
The company said Thursday it will supply technical resources as well as mentors and employee volunteers to support more than 220 U.S. schools participating in the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.
“NCCDC educates and inspires the next generation of cyber defenders and prepares them for the types of threats they will face and defend against in the real world,” said Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017.
