Scott Weiner, a more than 10-year Cobham veteran, has named vice president of corporate development at Raytheon(NYSE: RTN).
Raytheon said Monday Weiner will oversee acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments and divestitures across the company’s domestic and international businesses.
He will report to Chief Financial Officer Toby O’Brien.
Prior to his appointment, Weiner held similar roles at Cobham and EDO Corp. and worked as an engineer at AIL Systems, where he contributed to five U.S. patents for space communications platforms that utilize microwave and millimeter wave frequencies.
He earned his bachelors degree in electrical engineering, master’s degree in electrophysics and MBA from New York University.
