TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 24, 2017 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has transferred the launch and checkout platform of the U.S. Air Forces GPS Next-Generation Operational Control System to Schriever Air Force Base for site-specific acceptance and qualification tests, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
The company said Wednesday previous tests on the GPS OCX launch and checkout system at the Raytheon factory generated a score of 97.7 percent.
“This achievement moves the system a step closer to delivering enhanced GPS for millions of users worldwide,” said Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheons intelligence, information and services business segment and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017.
