TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 24, 2018 Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has built a ground-based satellite data processing system prototype in an effort to help the military and first responders utilize information from the U.S. Air Force‘s Space Based Infrared System and other sources, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.
The company said Friday the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution ground system will work to process data from SBIRS as well as civil and environmental sources such as weather satellites and ground radars in order to provide missile warnings, intelligence and situational awareness.
