Peraton has appointed Ravi Dankanikote, a government contracting industry veteran, as its chief growth officer. In his new role, Dankanikote will oversee the development and implementation of the company’s enterprise growth strategy, lead business development efforts, and strengthen customer relationships.
“Ravi is not just a growth executive—he’s a systems thinker, a connector, and a values-driven leader,” commented Steve Schorer, chairman, president and CEO of Peraton and a three-time Wash100 awardee. “His ability to align strategy, culture, and execution is exactly what we need at this stage in our evolution. He’s going to be a catalyst for growth that defines the next chapter of our company.”
Who is Ravi Dankanikote?
Dankanikote brings to Peraton over 30 years of leadership experience in govcon. Before joining the national security and defense technology company, he was at SAIC, where he held the role of senior vice president of business development for almost five years.
For over 27 years, he was at CACI International, where he served as vice president of operations and then SVP of business development.
In 2023, Executive Mosaic selected Dankanikote as chair of its 4×24 Business Development Group, which brings together federal leaders and industry experts to discuss the nation’s most pressing challenges and priorities.
