Former Astrion Capture Manager Randy Centanni Joins Venturi as VP of Business Development

Venturi, a Chenega company based in Huntsville, Alabama, has appointed Randy Centanni as vice president of business development.

Centanni brings over 25 years of experience overseeing day-to-day business development and led strategic financial analyses across the federal marketplace, Chenega said Friday.

Who Is Randy Centanni?

Before joining Venturi, Centanni served as senior business development and capture manager for U.S. Army programs at Astrion, formerly Axient.

He was the director of business development for V2X’s global training support organization, previously known as Raytheon Global Training and Logistics, prior to his move to Astrion in 2024.

Centanni’s career also includes senior leadership and business development roles at KBR, ASRC Federal, Lockheed Martin and Teledyne Industries.

An Athens State University graduate, Centanni holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

What Does Venturi Do?

Founded in 2006, Venturi has nearly two decades of experience delivering technical, programmatic and logistics support services to federal customers.

In 2016, the Missile Defense Agency awarded Venturi a $51.5 million contract to provide advisory and assistance services in support of logistics for the Ballistic Missile Defense System. Under the contract, Venturi was responsible for developing, implementing and sustaining logistics processes, plans and policies, as well as supporting logistics management, performance-based logistics and integrated product support in accordance with MDA and Department of War guidelines.
