Andrew Wild, formerly a chief information security officer at Lancope, has joined cloud computing and data center services provider QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) as CISO.
Wild previously served as chief security officer for cloud security and compliance services provider Qualys before he joined Lancope, QTS said Wednesday.
“Andrew was the perfect choice based on his thought leadership in implementing and securing cloud and ‘as a service’ environments, coupled with his knowledge of the risk management and information security challenges faced by today’s organizations, ” said Jon Greaves, chief technology officer at QTS.
Wild brings more than 25 years of information security and risk management experience to QTS.
He also participates in the Cloud Security Alliance, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to promote cloud security practices; and the Mach37 startup accelerator that helps to build cybersecurity product companies.
