IT Industry Vet Doug Sickler Joins Pyramid Systems as SVP, Chief Growth Officer

Doug Sickler, former vice president of business development at Technica, has joined Pyramid Systems as senior vice president and chief growth officer.

He will be responsible for overseeing BD and growth efforts, building corporate backlog and increasing win rates, Pyramid Systems said Tuesday.

Sickler previously worked at Technica for five years, where he led strategic account planning, proposal operations, deal strategy development, and other business development functions. 

Prior to that, he was vice president of federal sales at Unisys (NYSE: UIS) and managed the company’s accounts for the Department of Homeland Security and other federal clients.

The former U.S. Navy officer also held sales leadership roles at Dell Services and Electronic Data Systems.
