PsiQuantum Enlists 4 Public Sector Veterans to Comprise New Government Advisory Board

Supercomputing provider PsiQuantum created its first-ever government advisory board to keep abreast of the latest quantum technologies and developments applicable to the sector.

The new board includes Wash100 awardees Robert Sharp, former director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and Michele Flournoy, former undersecretary of defense for policy, the company said Thursday.

Sharp is a retired vice admiral of the U.S. Navy, serving 34 years as a naval intelligence officer. He is also one of the pioneers of the Navy’s Information Warfare Community. The military veteran is currently the CEO of consulting firm B Sharp – Global Solutions.

Flournoy worked as a Department of Defense undersecretary from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, she was principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for strategy and threat reduction. In 2017, she co-founded strategic advisory company WestExec Advisors.

The other inaugural members are James Langevin, former representative for Rhode Island’s 2nd congressional district, and Ronnie Chatterji, former White House coordinator for CHIPS implementation at the National Economic Council.
