Prescient Edge Corp. has acquired Edge Analytic Solutions to strengthen its presence in the defense intelligence market and expand its capabilities in data sciences, C5ISR and systems integration and portfolio of intelligence analytics platforms for government customers.
PEC said Thursday it will operate EAS as a wholly owned subsidiary.
“EAS was born out of a need for advanced intelligence tools that focus on the vast amounts of data available today,” said Prescient Edge CEO Alexander Granados.
“We are proud to have helped develop this enterprise into a trusted instrument that aids our nation’s top defenders in making informed decisions, and we are excited to expand our technology solutions as it joins us as a full member of the PEC family,” the chief executive added.
PEC is a veteran-owned C5ISR and intelligence technology provider that supports customers’ critical national security missions. Its team of experts specializes in full-spectrum intelligence analysis, unmanned systems coordination and operational support.
What Does Edge Analytic Solutions Do?
Established in 2018, EAS is a Small Business Administration-approved Mentor-Protege joint venture that offers intelligence analysis and advanced analytic tools in support of defense decision-makers.
In 2019, the company won a spot on the third iteration of the Solutions for Intelligence Analysis, or SIA 3, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Since its launch, EAS has secured 14 task orders worth nearly $1 billion combined, supporting missions at the Defense Intelligence Agency, Space Command and Army Intelligence and Security Command.
