Preferred Systems Solutions has acquired system architecture and software design company Tetra Concepts in support of efforts to expand PSS’ core offerings in professional services and presence in the national security sector.
Northern Virginia-based PSS said Tuesday Tetra Concepts will also add to its portfolio of cybersecurity, data analytics and cloud-based technology for the Intelligence Community.

Following the acquisition, top Tetra Concepts executives Brian Husted and Charles Griffin will move to PSS and serve as vice presidents within its national security group.
“The strategy of NSG is to build a diverse portfolio of service offerings that will complement and enhance our ability to help the Intelligence Community identify and solve their most challenging problems… Tetra fits perfectly into that strategy, ” said Jim Ballard, president of the PSS federal business.
