Raytheon Technologies‘ (NYSE: RTX) Pratt & Whitney business will continue to maintain military fighter aircraft engines for domestic and foreign military sales customers under a $447.6 million contract modification from Naval Air Systems Command.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday that contract work involves recurring sustainment efforts for the propulsion system of F-35 jets operated by the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Air National Guard as well as FMS and non-DOD participants in the program.
Locations of work include military installations such as Eglin AF Base, Luke AFB, Hill AFB, Beaufort Marine Corps Air Station and Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
Pratt & Whitney will perform the tasks through May 2022 and will receive $144 million in initial obligated funds on the award.
